Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor currently under considerabtion by another journal
- The submission file is a Microsoft Word document.
- The word document adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Copyright of articles published in the Australian and New Zealand Law Journal is vested jointly in the Journal and the contributor.
Apart from any fair dealing for the purposes of private study, research, criticism or review, as permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), no part may be reproduced without written permission. However, authors may upload their own published work to online and university repositories, or republish their own work as part of a research thesis, without prior approval from the editors provided due acknowledgment is given to the Australian and New Zealand Law Journal.
