Abstract

This paper was presented by the Technical Director Marine and the Marine Advisory Board of the Insurance Council of Australia. It focuses in particular on the strict liability, uniform liability, and network liability regimes as they relate to the Australian marine insurance industry. The article ultimately favours the network liability system.
