Abstract

This article proceeds from the adoption of the draft CMI Rules for Electronic Bills of Lading. MacKenzie explains the function and use of these Rules, and their compatibility with or effect on pre-existing maritime practice. A copy of the draft Rules is attached at the end of the article.
