Allen covers the background and development of the new Institute Time Clauses Hulls, which would be effective from 1 November 1995, in order to explain why the clauses have been so controversial amongst marine insurance customers. Allen goes through the major changes incorporated into the Institute Time Clauses Hulls and the context of these changes.
