Abstract
Lawford presents this paper as part of Business Session 5, chaired by Frank Turner. In it, Lawford discusses the UK P&I Club's Major Claims Analysis, which attempts to organise a large amount of data in a way which can be readily assimilated. The author begins by outlining the background of the analysis, before providing updates of some of the findings, and discussing some of the lessons learned from the analysis and the action that has been taken.
