Abstract

James presents this paper as part of Business Session 6 on Specific Issues in Law Reform. James discusses the Protocol of 1997 to MARPOL 73/78, which was adopted by the IMO in 1997, and set out in its annex the new Annex VI, 'Regulations for the Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships', as well as eight Conference resolutions including the Technical Code on Control of Emission of Nitrogen Oxides from Marine Diesel Engines.
