Abstract

This paper contains the slides for Monteiro's presentation about recent legal developments in New Zealand, including legislative reform, legal fallout from the Rena disaster, admiralty and cross-border insolvency, the boat builder's right to arrest, law on the high seas, and the establishment of a New Zealand branch of the Women in International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA).
