Abstract
This paper contains the slides for Goodwin and Young's presentation about how to brief a barrister. The authors discuss sensible steps in briefing barristers, models of practice (diverse ways of working at the Bar), clerking and its frontiers, and efficiency in the overall legal system (implications and opportunities for the Bar, as well as the question of fusing the profession).
