Abstract

This is part one of a two part presentation. In this part, Dawson provides an international context to exploitation of crewmembers on foreign flagged fishing vessels, then using New Zealand as a case study, he focuses on some of the difficulties that have arisen for crew in the enforcement of their rights in New Zealand.
