Abstract
This paper contains the slides for McKenzie's presentation on recent updates in maritime regulation. He discusses the Seacare legislation, liability limit increases through amendments to the 1996 Protocol to the LLMC 1976, the Maritime Legislation Amendment Bill 2015, the Shipping Legislation Amendment Bill 2015, interaction between s 114 of the Navigation Act 2012 with State OH&S/WHS laws, and future ratification of IMO conventions.
