Abstract

This paper was given as a handout to conference participants as part of Business Session 3. The handout includes the Australian and New Zealand uniform expert code of conduct for expert witnesses, the International Institute of Marine Surveyors Code of Conduct, the Australian Pilotage Group Code of Conduct, the AMSA Code of Conduct, SOLAS Convention Chapter V, Reg 33, and finally several fictional scenarios for discussion.
