Abstract
In this paper, Taylor reviews the UNCITRAL draft convention on transport law from the broader perspective of how it might work in Australia, and what changes might be made to a system that many are already familiar with. To do this, Taylor considers three things: a) Australia's multimodal regime under the Amended Hague Rules and the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth); b) the scope and application of the draft convention; and c) the potential impact of the draft convention in Australia.
