Abstract

In this paper, Brodie begins by discussing the case of Waller v New Zealand Bloodstock Limited [2006] 3 NZLR 629, before proceeding to discuss the impacts of the Personal Properties Securities Act 1999 (NZ), its scheme and structure, the system it creates, and other cases under the PPSA, as well as the inter-relationship between the PPSA and the Ship Registration Act 1992 (NZ).
