This paper contains the slides for Fallon's presentation about liner shipping agreements. Fallon discusses consortium and conference agreements, developments in various jurisdictions in relation to these agreements (looking at the EU, US, Australia, and Singapore), competition concerns, economic efficiency considerations, and the theory of the empty core (no stable equilibrium or agreement).
