General Average: Problems for Solution

Abstract

Walker provides insight into the history of general average and the impacts of both modern technological developments and uniform legislation and conventions. Walker also gives a hypothetical example of a general average situation as an illustration of some modern problems, and suggests how general average practices should be changed.
