Abstract
This anonymous article aims to predict what factors will influence the shipping industry throughout the coming decade, including computers, market forces, rising freight rates for exporters based in Australia and New Zealand, and what types of ships will become most profitable for shipowners to build. Global political turmoil is also predicted to possibly affect international trade.
