Abstract

In this paper, Hetherington provides a copy of the CMI's Instrument on Places of Refuge. In the appendix he provides a list of applicable international conventions and protocols, as well as the Standard Letter of Guarantee to be Given to Port or Proper Authority in Relation to a Ship Seeking Entry to a Place of Refuge.
