Résumé
Although not strictly in the realm of maritime law, this case revolved around various issues, particularly private international law issues, which are pertinent to that area. These included: incorporation of the carrier’s standard terms and conditions into the contract of carriage, the scope of an exclusive jurisdiction clause, and the Court’s decision whether to grant an anti-suit injunction to restrain foreign proceedings.
