Résumé

As with Morgan and Mackay, Gross discusses the topic of maritime arbitration. In particular, Gross suggests that the price of arbitration will vary depending on the type of case in question, and the aims and considerations foremost in the minds of the parties involved, while also making reference to English arbitration law. Gross highlights the following (non-exhaustive) categories of arbitration: charterparties, commodity trades, oil trading, 'institutional' arbitrations, Lloyd's Open Form salvage, and ship collisions.
