Résumé
De Roy presents this paper as part of Business Session 5. In it, the author describes the collapse of the ABC Containerline Group, taking into account the five companies which comprised the group and the group's estate at the time of the bankruptcy, which consisted mainly of six ships in various parts of the world. Importantly, de Roy considers the extensive role and obligations of the trustees following the collapse, the ongoing proceedings in various countries including the US, Canada, Israel, and New Zealand, and the conflicts of laws issues which have followed.
